The Department of Health Education and Promotion started its activity in 1997 by accepting students in the fields of family health and diseases control (a two-year educational program) and public health (B.Sc.).

however, it developed steadily over years and resulted in a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs that we offer today. Currently, the department of Health Education and Promotion is offering courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Public Health (B.Sc.), Health Education and Promotion (M.Sc.) and Aging Health (M.Sc.). Our goal for both graduate and undergraduate students is to give them a high quality education as well as advanced research skills together with practical experiences in their respective fields of study.
